In La Réunion, Christmas is very different.
It's summer time, it's hot, trees are green, there are lots of flowers. People decorate streets and houses less than in Metropole.
The Christmas party, on the 24th of December, is very funny and noisy. Every family throws lanterns and fireworks !
Lots of people go to the beach, to eat the carri, dance and sleep (they camp).
For the New Year night, it's similar but stronger !!
